Saarthi- The Guiding Light
The grand Annual Day Celebration 2024 at DPS, INDORE SAARTHI- The Guiding Light’ was celebrated on 20th December 2024 with great splendor and fan fare . It was a grand celebration of the eternal presence of Lord Krishna, not merely as a divine figure but as a timeless essence within each of us. A galaxy of esteemed dignitaries including Guest of Honour, Prof. Dr. Suchitra Harmalkar, Kathak Nrityangana, Guru Raigarh Gharana and esteemed Shri Hari Mohan Gupta , Chairman of Jagran Social Welfare Society, Chancellor Jagran Lake City University, Bhopal and Pro-Vice Chairman DPS, Bhopal, Kolar Road, Bhopal, Indore and Rau, Indore, Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Joint Secretary and Vice Chairman, Executive Board JSWS, Pro Chancellor and Member, Governing Body JLU, Bhopal and Member, Managing Committee, DPS Bhopal, Kolar Road,Bhopal, Indore and Rau, Indore and all dignified members of JSWS graced the occasion.
The Principal Mr. Parmindr B. Chopra, presented the school’s Annual Report After the Award Ceremony there was the music presentation ‘Madhav – Naad – Manjari’. The English presentation ‘The Little Enchanter’ and the Hindi play ‘Abhyuthanam’, drew everyone closer to Krishna’s divine essence, reminding us of His eternal presence in our hearts and lives. The Guest of Honour in her address was all praise for the enchanting cultural arena, ‘HERITAGE HAVEN’- a vivid tapestry of traditions and art forms, woven together with remarkable artistry. This vibrant corridor of creativity exuded an air of unity, celebrating the symphony of diversity with unparalleled elegance. The spectacular celebrations concluded on a jubilant note. The School Presidents Giriman Kohli and Anushree Rao proposed the vote of thanks.

Life is a blissful journey woven with the colours of talent, dedication, and camaraderie!
The evening of December 10, 2023 turned charismatic with the unfurling of Samsara – The Mystical Circle of Life – the visual splendour, the keenly awaited annual function – that aimed to shed light upon the various facets that we as the human race encounter! DIPSITES set a benchmark of unanimous participation of students – right from the nascent minds to the young adults.
The dance drama ‘Ab Aur Yudh Nahi’ showcased the significance of peace and harmony through the glimpses of the life of Samrat Ashok. The legendary classic Alibaba and the Forty Thieves, presented as a lyrical ballad, explored the importance of wit and reason that helps one face adversities. The enchanting musical presentation, ‘Aks – Pratibimb Suron Ka’, took the audience on a symphonic ride of emotive melodies.
The Chief Guest for the day was Mr Hari Mohan Gupta- Chairman Jagran Social Welfare Society Bhopal, Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Pro Vice Chairman DPS Bhopal, Indore, Kolar Road Bhopal, and Rau. The Guest of Honour was Ms Sudipti Hajela, the Indian Equestrian Athlete who created history at the 19th Asian Games winning the prestigious Gold Medal after 41 years. The Special Guest for the evening was Dr Bharat Sharma, the Executive Board Member at NCF, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India.
The other dignitaries comprised Mr Abhishek Mohan Gupta, the Joint Secretary & Director Marketing & Strategic Development, Jagran Social Welfare Society, Pro Chancellor & Member Governing Body Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal & Member Managing Committee DPS Bhopal-Indore-Kolar , Rau, Indore and Dr Dharam Verma, the Director School Academic Development and the Officiating Principal of DPS Indore.
The presence of the esteemed members of the school management added cheer and excitement to the air of celebration.

Delhi Public School, Indore celebrated its annual function, Epiphany 2022 – Moments of Soul Searching & Revelation, on 18th December 2022. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr Harinarayan Chari Mishra- Police Commissioner, Indore Zone. The Guests of Honour were Mr Probal Dasgupta, the eminent historian and business Leader and Mr Hari Mohan Gupta- Chairman Jagran Social Welfare Society Bhopal, Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Pro Vice Chairman DPS Bhopal, Indore, Kolar Road Bhopal, and Rau. The other dignitaries comprised the Joint Secretary & Director Marketing & Strategic Development, Jagran Social Welfare Society, Pro Chancellor & Member Governing Body Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal & Member Managing Committee DPS Bhopal-Indore-Kolar , Rau, Indore, Mr Abhishek Mohan Gupta and the Principal Mr Ajay K Sharma along with the members of the school management.
