National Inter-School AFS Dance Competition
Delhi Public School, Indore participated in a National Inter-School AFS Dance Competition, hosted by AFS and Inter DPS classical dance competition, Nrityadhara. The themes of the competitions were ‘bhoomi’ and ‘Mahakali’ respectively, They also qualified for the national level of Inter DPS competition, hosted by DPS Vasant Kunj. The dancers performed with grace and excelled The participating students were: Suhani Bhandari, Akshayini Kamaria, Ayshini Bharat, Eva Gandhi, Pankh Hemant Goyal, Rajnandni Kumari, Aadya Chopra, Aahana Jain, Gursahaj Kaur Siddhu, Kartik Kumar, Shubhlaxmi Mehta, Trisha Chopra, Darshika Singh, Kritika Ajmera and Shambhavi Gour.
DPS Indore participated in Inter-DPS Hindustani Vocal Music Festival-2024 titled “Swaragini” , which was organised by DPS Society at DPS Knowledge Park, Greater Noida. The young artists, Adhya Kanodia (vocalist), Arnav Tiwari (Harmonium) and Ameya Gangawati (Tabla) , bagged the first runners-up trophy for the solo category . They have also qualified in the solo category for the Nationals. They were awarded by the Honourable Vice Chairman of The DPS Society, V.K. Shunglu sir.
The talented DIPSITES of Grade VI-VIII, brought laurels to the school by beating 30 schools to secure the first position and clinched the Overall Winner Trophy at the “SWAR TARANGAM”, an Inter-School Patriotic Song Competition, held at Bhavans’ Prominent International School, Indore on August 23,2024.
The talented dancers from Delhi Public School, Nipania, Indore, showcased their exceptional skills at the Bharat Nritya Mahotsav in Panjim, Goa, organized by the Akhil Natarajam Intercultural Association, Nagpur.
The following students excelled:
- Gursahaj Kaur Sidhu and Trisha Chopra – 1st place in the Kathak duet junior category.
- Chanchal Agrawal – Runner-up in the Odissi open category.
- Gursahaj Kaur Sidhu – 1st runner-up in Kathak solo junior.
- Trisha Chopra – President’s Award in Kathak solo junior.

DIPSITE Suhani Bhandari Class IX secured First Position in Dance Competition ( Category- Kathak & Folk Dance) conducted online organised by Hindustan Arts and Music Society on 25 -27 June’21. Dance is truly a meditation, it enables a person to understand the hidden language of the soul.

DPS Indore bagged the Best School Performance Award in the Reverberations– An Inter School Dance Drama Competition hosted by Choithram School, Manik Bagh.A team of 20 students from classes 3rd to 5th mesmerised the Judges by their breathtaking performance and secured the 1st position.

With the glittering international fame DPS , Indore is proud to announces that one of its students, Arpita Shankar of class 8 and a Teacher of shiksha kendra, Ms Yashasvi Soni will be participating in the International Cultural Conclave 2019 (Dance Competition), Bangkok (Thailand) after auspiciously winning The National Cultural Conclave 2019 (Dance Competition) held at Goa.
