Training Session for School Bus Staff
Training Session for School Bus Staff An insightful training session was conducted for the school bus drivers, conductors and bus didis by ACP Shri Manoj Khatri from Traffic Police Zone -2. The session focused on the High Court-mandated guidelines for school transport service. ACP Shri Manoj Khatri highlighted the key points related to the responsibilities of school transport staff, their duties, and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient transport system. This initiative aimed to equip the staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to prioritize student safety and uphold their duties responsibly. This training marks another step towards fostering a safe, secure, and efficient transportation system for the school community.
Benevolence: The Path Forward
The Special Open House for Classes III to V at DPS Indore was a heartwarming celebration of generosity. Students enthusiastically contributed to spreading smiles among underprivileged children, while performances by the Drama Club and impromptu songs by parents added a lively touch to the event.
Club Activities showcased creative artifacts, culinary treats, and accessories, with proceeds dedicated to charitable causes. DPS Indore deeply appreciates the generous support of parents in making this initiative a success.

Spreading Kindness and Compassion
Small acts of kindness create profound impacts, as demonstrated by DPS Indore through its Benevolent Fiesta. Proceeds and donations from the Open House were dedicated to The Shiksha Kendra, a Jagran Social Welfare Society initiative.
In a heartwarming gesture, a Class IV student donated his bicycle, while others contributed toys, clothes, books, and footwear, spreading love and blessings. Students also visited slum areas with their teachers, distributing woolens, blankets, and other essentials, alongside monetary support for the needy.
This initiative taught students invaluable lessons in empathy and gratitude, inspiring them to cherish their blessings and extend support to those braving life’s challenges.
The spirit of generosity at DPS Indore reaffirms the belief: “You get back what you give.” Let’s continue spreading love, abundantly and unconditionally!
Spreading Smiles on Children’s Day at Anubhuti Seva Sadan
The students of DPS Indore embraced the true essence of Children’s Day by extending their celebrations to Anubhuti Seva Sadan, creating memories etched in empathy and joy. This heartfelt initiative, a part of the Benevolent Fiesta, reflected the spirit of selflessness and the transformative power of giving.
In a vibrant symphony of compassion, the students donated thoughtfully curated essentials to children with special needs. Beyond material offerings, they immersed themselves in an unparalleled journey of emotional enrichment, discovering the profound truth that happiness transcends life’s challenges.
The day unfolded with lively melodies and dance performances, as Dipsites and the differently-abled children celebrated together in an atmosphere brimming with warmth and unity. The joy was palpable, not just in the shared smiles but in the invaluable life lessons exchanged.
This celebration was more than an event; it was a soulful reminder that kindness and empathy hold the power to illuminate lives. By embracing the art of living with purpose and compassion, our students are not only enriching their own lives but also sowing the seeds of a brighter, more inclusive world.
Khanak Hajela, a student of DPS INDORE, sowed the seed of her YouTube Series “Gupshup with Khanak” during April, 2020 based on Financial Literacy and since then she has been releasing her episides, on every Friday. On her 74th episode,she received the honour from India Book of Records and on her 215th episode, she received the magnificent honour of the “Asia Books of Records,” for her contribution to financial literacy.She has currently reached till the 236th episode of her series . In addition to this,on the occasion of International Girl Child Day (11th October 2024), Khanak has been honoured with the Award of Active Girl- Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana of Indian Government,by District Programme Officer Shri Ramniwas Budhauliya. She has also been appointed as the Brand Ambassador of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana .
The Inter School Sahodaya Classical Group Dance Competition 2024-25, hosted by DCM School, Indore, saw participation by thirteen schools across Indore. Delhi Public School, Nipania, emerged victorious, se curing the award for the best performance.
The winning dance, choreographed by kathak guru Archana Banerjee, head of the Dance De partment, along with Chanchal Agrawal, show- cased a stunning tribute to goddess Mahakali.

Delhi Public School Castle of Dreams, Indore, hosted. a vibrant assembly celebrating the dual themes of Halloween and Thanks giving. The event was graced by esteemed guest a businesswoman Suruchi Malhotra.
The special assembly commenced with a spirited Halloween decoration showcase, featuring ghosts, witches, and pumpkins. The school choir then performed a heartfelt song celebrating gratitude, seamlessly transitioning the tone from spooky to thankful
Students shared personal reflections on what they were thankful for, high lighting the importance of appreciation and gratitude. This was followed by a mesmerizing Halloween costume parade, showcasing imaginative out fits ranging from classic monsters to whimsical characters.
The spooky dance performance added an extra layer of excitement to the event. Malhotra commended the students for their creativity and enthusiasm, emphasizing the value of embracing diverse traditions.
The successful Halloween and Thanksgiving assembly united the school community, fostering a sense of gratitude and celebration.

With a view of fostering entrepreneurial skills, financial acumen, and leadership qualities in students, a Commerce Fest – “COMM….ERA 2024” featuring a wide range of activities, including business quizzes, case studies, mock stock market simulations, and entrepreneurial challenges, was organised at DPS, INDORE wherein young minds and commerce enthusiasts from various CBSE schools ,across the city and nearby towns participated enthusiastically.
DIPSITES of Classes IX got an opportunity to visit Regional Science Park, Bhopal, through a Science Education Trip. The students were particularly captivated by the following attractions at the park:
- Taramandal: A planetarium-like structure.
- 3D Show: A ten-minute immersive experience with students, wearing 3D glasses.
- Science Demonstrations: Students witnessed experiments. This enriching experience, not only enabled the young minds to delve deep into the basic fundamentals of science through various exhibits related to Physics, such as the movement of skeletons, the effects of mirrors, and other scientific principles.
Her innovative teaching techniques received commendation for their clarity and effectiveness during online observations. The program culminated in certificates awarded by the HRDC DPS Society.
With a view to update the knowledge of educators and acquainting them with the different ‘Pedagogical Approaches for classes VI to XII’, a workshop was held by HRDC, DPS Society at Greater Noida, from 9th- 13th September, 2024 . Around 92 teachers from different schools run by DPS society, participated enthusiastically in the event. Ms. Neelima Pachori, a senior Science faculty of DPS, INDORE attended the multiple sessions conducted by knowledgeable Professors from different esteemed institutes of the country in the workshop.
Tree Plantation Drive
Keeping conservation of nature in view, DPS Indore, hosted a remarkable Tree Plantation Drive, aptly titled “The Green Initiative – One Tree, One Life” on the 9th of August 2024. The event unfolded with grace and purpose, symbolizing our commitment to a more sustainable future.
Dr. Janak Palta, a celebrated environmentalist and a Padma Shree awardee was the distinguished guest for the occasion, who stands as a beacon of inspiration for all. Alongside her, Ms. Megha Mukti Bodh, Dean of Shikshakendra, exemplified the fusion of education and environmental consciousness.

A Behind-the-Scenes Experience to Radio Station
An educational excursion was scheduled on July 23 & 24, 2024, to the Police Control Room, Indore.
Young Dipsites had the opportunity to learn about the 24/7 helpline and how calls are received and responded to. Students were briefed about the *Surveillance Room*.
They witnessed the network of CCTV cameras monitoring the city’s streets and public areas.
The highlight of the visit was the interactive session with the police officers, who shared their experiences and answered our questions. They gained valuable insights about their boundless efforts and tireless duty hours maintaining law and order in the city.
To learn more, students of class IX and X went on a field trip to Robotics (AI) Lab at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research, Indore where the students from AI branch were privileged to get an insight into the functioning of 4 Laboratories, namely Electrical Vehicle Lab, Artificial intelligence and Robotics lab. AICTE Idea lab. and Innovation and Incubation Centre (Tinkering Laboratory).
*RESPLENDENT REFLECTIONS*
A new chapter, filled with promises of growth, learning, and endless possibilities unfolded today, as the 21st birthday of DPS Indore was celebrated , amidst the feelings of love and gratitude for its extraordinary contribution to the society.
On this occasion, a special assembly was performed by class 9, marking two decades of academic excellence and character development. Students showcased their creativity and camaraderie through various performances like skit, dance, music and PPT presentation.

On June 11, 2024, the Ninth Graders embarked on a unique culinary journey during an Online French Cooking Workshop. guided by the charismatic Emilie Arduino-It was guided by Vitalis and Claire Mesenge from Alliance Française Indore-Bhopal.
