The Independence Day celebration at DPS Indore, commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony by the Principal, Mr. Parmindr B. Chopra.

This was followed by the Independence Day Special Assembly – “जयतु भारतम्”, proudly presented by the students of Class IX.

The event commenced with a patriotic musical rendition followed by a captivating dance drama on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, highlighting his exemplary character, leadership, values and invaluable contribution to nation-building. Principal Mr. Parmindr B. Chopra delivered an inspiring message, urging students to understand that freedom comes with responsibility.

It was an inspiring and memorable celebration of India’s 80th Independence Day.
